I am gathering parts for my car and was going to go to the store after work today. What size/length wheel studs should I get for my 68 coupe? I do not know what brakes I am running yet. The studs are going in a big bearing 9" axle.

Thanks for the info...

The brake drum must fit onto the lug (not stud). The drum has provision to accept the lug.

SD,

Thanks for the info, i guess it would be a lug, hence the term "lug nut". I know the drum slips over the lugs but what I am asking is what length lugs should i be getting?

I don't know the length because I don't know what differential you have or the size of your brakes. Don't you have an old lug to measure?
