When youre not sure positive is positive.

I'm wiring the engine, and I'm not sure what to do with regard to wiring the crank, and cam position sensors. Is there a positive and negative with these two wire sensors? Been looking online, and no real clear info that I can find on this.

It shouldnt make a difference being in reality its just in and out and the sensor is skewing and creating the pulse on the out wire.

This is correct a VR sensor just creates a AC sine wave form.
