Where can I get this convertible part ??

These 2 parts ensure that the door is aligned upon closing on a convertible (1992).

The female part resides in the door jam, while the male is fastened to the door.

The female/receptacle side contains a plastic insert which I believe is meant to reduce the sound of these 2 parts coming together when the door is closed shut.

I only need the plastic insert, but I'm prepared to purchase the set, but I cannot find this part anywhere.

Any help would be appreciated.

wish I had the answer. There are a lot of vert parts that there simply arent aftermarket replacements for. The JY may be your best bet. Try CJ Ponyparts as well.

I had already contacted latemoderestoration, foxbodyresto, americanmuscle, etc. before posting here.

I also checked eBay = nothing

Now writing my local Craigs' list ads for guys parting-out.

Worst comes to worst, I'll make one out of plastic fill... but that will take time... time is money... so I'd rather spend the money to get back my time.
