Hey Guys,

I took out my upper and lower cowl to repair it, and wrecked a bunch of the windshield clip studs (found around the front and rear windshield/backlight).

A canadian company lists them in their catalogue, but when I called from work, they said they don't stock them anymore. It lists them as 4-24x3/8 Special Phillips Flat Head http://www.hpaulin.com/Catalogue/400.pdf (page 97, part 246 -404.

Anybody else know where to find them? I could use a screw, but I like how the shoulder is there to set it to the proper height and stud diameter for the windshield clips.

Thanks!
Nate

Check with a couple body shops. THey can be put back on with a stud gun. I've seen the studs before, not sure where. The moulding clip kits for the 65 Mustang come with the short screws to attach them. I use these anytime one is missing. Holds the moulding just fine and no one will ever see them. Oh, put a dab of RTV on the holes/screw threads if you go this route or you WILL have a leak.

OK, thats really cool! I came accross that, but it didn't register what I was looking at cause it was a GM oriented site/parts. Now I see what it is.
Anyone know what the right size is?

Should be the 4-24x3/8 Special Phillips Flat Head. Ill have to measure a stud to make sure it has 7/32 head.
