Doh, There it is

Last night my bud and I pulled out the old engine and today i'm going to work on cleaning the engine bay and installing my qa1 k-member. Today i'm going to clean and sand blast the brackets so I can take them and the intake to get powder coated tomorrow. I will let you guys know how everything goes with the k-member and how it goes.

Did you run it with that 'breather' in place of your "710" cap?

Damn, I'm done for the night. The k-member fit good till it was time to install the controll arms. I'm using a qa1 and the stock arms are suppose to fit. Well the arms are off barley and with my dad and a buddy we should beable to get them to line up straight with the holes. Now the stock back bolts wont fit. One way the head hits the k-member and the other way you can't get the nut on. i'm off to lowes tomorrow to see what I can find.

Oh and i'm re running the wiring and hiding as much as I can. I will post up some pics later.

Shame on me. :damnit:

I was taking off my injectors today and the lines still had gas in them. I didnt realise how bad the fumes were till i went back in the garage. Now I wonder if that was a pink tiger or not in the garage.

Well, i'm up so lets talk.

I'm going to try using a set of mac headers for a 351 in a fox body till I can get funds for some nice kooks and pay off this thing.

I'm working on making a pcv system that will work with a big engine. My spyder intake dosent even have a place for one. I found a nice screw in pcv at az. And i got a filter to catch any oil. I'm going to have the intake machined and make a baffle and see how it works. So for high rpm's I will have the exhaust breathers, then for low rpms I will have my pcv setup with a filter.

Tomorrow My rotating assy is off to get balanced then it's time to put her togetor.
