Where do I go to weigh my car?

i live in cincinnati ohio(just moved), so if anyone knows a specific place here, thatd be great. other than a specific place, where exactly do you go to weigh your car?

would they let me stop in to get weighed? if so how much do u think it would cost

is there a landfill (dump) around you, they have scales.

im not real sure if or where there is a landfill or track, i just moved here not to long ago....i guess i will ask around

Truckstops have scales -- but they will charge you. Probably $7.00

Never tried a scrapyard or dump -- they may do it free, not sure.

My personal preference is to find a closed weigh station on the highway. Usually they leave the scales on. You won't get a printout, but you can drive on and check your weight either on a board outside or by looking in the booth.

I checked mine on an electronic grain scale back in IL. They are accurate to +/- 10 pounds. I just drove it on there and peaked in the window at the readout. The one I used was dead on because it caculated my body weight exactly.
