I am having trouble finding the "felt" to cover the box, and I need some type of thin foam or cloth that is kinda strechy for the compound curve of the top (it will be coated with epoxy once streched to shape).
I saw Remmy doing it the other day on UW, but he didnt say what exactly it was.

Anybody got a good web site for supplies?

Thanks,
DD

Maybe ebay, but i used to get it from a local audio shop. They went out of business, but any audio shop should be able to break you off some, just watch out what they ae wanting to charge you, look around. Hope this helps.

Yeah the local stereo shop wants like $20 a yard for the felt (so it probably cost them 10)...

I might have found it though, was just reading about how to build a poker table and the guy got the 1/4 headliner foam (strechy stuff for the curve) and some nice wana-be leather at Joannes fabricks. So I'll take a run by there on Monday and check it out.

Thanks though,
Dave-

I'm doing a custom box now in my car where the rear seat went and I got wood from Lowes to make the frame and I'm fiberglassing the bottom up to seal it. Probably going to cover it in the black suede like my headliner and door panel inserts. SP has good stuff.
