where is the starter on my car

I know this sounds stupid, and I thought it was on the passenger side toward the bottom but I don't see it. Thanks for the help

its there. its held on by 3 bolts.

It's on the passenger side of the car right by the exhaust mainifold.

if you think it's hard to see, it's harder to remove.

If I remember right it's damn near impossible to get to it without removing your mid-pipe.

Just found that out today. I got the first two bolts out without a problem, but the third is damn near impossible to get out. So I think I'm going to have it towed to a shop tomorrow.

what i did was put the socket on the bolt, then use extensions and universal joints and slam at it with an impact gun from the front of the car.

Yeah I think I'm going to just take it some place because I'm here at school & have very little tools

its really not that hard if you have some decent quarter drive stuff. put the 13mm on the bolt, then run some extensions in from the front of the car BETWEEN THE MOTOR MOUNT AND THE BLOCK. has to go through there if you want it to work. anyway, 2 long extensions with a swivel in the middle should do it. drop your H pipe, its only 8 bolts and the O2 plugs, and it helps a ton. after pulling the starter more than a couple times for various reasons, i can pull it with just a ratchet and 1 extension, but if you havent done it before, do it from the front.
