where to buy cheap u/p

Did mustangwarehouse ever get any better about their customer service? Last time I heard their name, the owner was chewing a customer out on the boards. Do a search and read it before ordering from them.

True, best place to find some good pulleys is on the classifieds or Ebay. However, i've tried that and good luck finding anything for a 94/95. You have to REALLY be quick in order to beat someone else to them. Even then, you are usually almost paying 75% of new price.

As far as mustang warehouse..i've ordered stuff from them before and had no problems. But I dont know, maybe I got lucky. Their prices are typically on point.

Charging problems.....if you have an amp in your car or if any part of your electrical system is in need of replacement anyways, you may have charging problems. If your car is taken care of, you have a strong battery and alternator and you do not have a huge amp in your trunk you should have no problems. If you still have problems, its not related to the pulleys. It means that you had problems before the pulleys and the pulleys just brought it to the surface.

Well like I said, if your charging system is in good shape and you have a decent SN95 alternator, you should have no problem. If you have a crappy battery or a alternator that is either not very strong or on its last leg or if you have a "system"....you most likely will have problems. Otherwise, just get them. I had no charging problems or cooling problems with mine whatsoever. SO much gets exagerated on this website.

thats what i did used the stock alt pulley mine would stop charging at idle and i have a good battery, run two and a new 165amp alternator but with the u/d alt pulley when the car went to idle the needle would read 11.8 volts. soon has the gas was touched it went back to about 13.7 and with the stock alt pulley it idles on 13.7

All I'm sayin is give the alternator pulley a shot. Its not hard to install. the whole kit takes less than 30 minutes. I did mine by myself for the first time and it was a breeze. There is a reason why you dont see these that often in the classifieds. People like them, they dont want to get rid of them. Take from that what you like but that means to me that not many people have problems with them. After doing my research, I found that some people had charging problems but only a fairly small percentage. A lot of the people, "dirtyo2000" not included, were just going off of what they had heard. Give it a shot, if it doesnt work for you, then put the stock pulley on. I bet though you dont have problems. The reading may dip a little, thats natural. Its GOING to do that no matter what. But you wont have any actual problems. Thats my bet.

Sometimes when I start my car in the morning for school, the right blinker doesn't work. It just kinda clicks, but once I drive for a little while it works fine and after that everything is perfect. You will feel a little pull from the pulleys. It is definitely worth it for the price. You can't beat a solid 10 hp for 60 - 70 bucks. On ebay it shouldn't be too hard to find 94/95 pulleys. Just keep an eye out.

Like I said, you can find some good deals but I've been looking for the past two weeks and the only ones I've found on Ebay are the only ones listed on there now. The pulleys from Mustangwarehouse. :) Everything else is for a fox, a v6 or a 4.6. But good luck. Let us know how they work for you!!

regards,
Chris

Well my pulleys came in today. Mac steel pulleys brand new for $65 shipped. I must be honest, I wasnt too happy with the tolerances on the alternator pulley. The 1/4" lip on it was too short so when the pulley was installed it fit tight up against the alternator. Fixed it with a washer but was kinda pi$$ed. Anyways, I've been having some starting problems with this car so I was wondering what they'd do. Started the car after install, took it for a drive, turned on the Mach 460 and the high beams and the battery meter was straight up and down.....perfect. There's another one for the nay sayers. Pulleys rock!!!!!! :)
