Where to buy EGR block-off plate?

Just like the subject says. When I have my chip burnt I am going to have the EGR deleted and was wondering where to get this at. Thanks.

I have to run a 1" spacer right now otherwise the EGR hits the top of my Valve cover. I can't run a STB with the 1" spacer which sucks b/c I autocross. So I wanna delete my EGR, then get rid of the 1" spacer, and pu t my STB back on. I understood there were no adverse affects to deleting it as long as I have the EGR function disabled when I get my chip burnt. Anyone else wanna chime in on this issue?

I took the stock gasket and traced it onto some aluminum I found in my garage. Then just cut it. There are more things involved then just blocking that area. However if you gonna do a chip soon then it won't matter.

I made my own. But for $12, that is not bad, espically if you dont have the stuff to make one. You will need something to plug into the harness to turn off the check engine light. This is whaat I bought. Works like a charm

Thanks for the link, but my computer chip that I'm getting will be programmed for no EGR, so I shouldn't need one of those.

EGR does cool the combustion chambers

Now I know that the EGR helps to cool combustion or something to that effect, but for you guys that deleted it, did your car run cooler after you deleted it?

I tapped and plugged the hole on the intake. Capped the header, had the function removed through software on the autologic chip (still got a light though, but made my own resister to solve that). I hardly think the effects of recirculated exhaust cools the intake temps of any significance, but whatever, your obviously an expert on the subject. 13 psi of noncooled vortech boost isn't causing me a problem, why should an ugly EGR valve?
