where to buy headers?

i want some shorty headers, whats a good brand? has to be carb legal. was looking at bbk? wheres a good place to buy for cheap?

I may not be much help on where to buy them from but I do have a suggestion,and most guys on here will agree with me. If you're going to go through the hassle of putting on headers,put on long-tubes. Yes they're slightly more expensive but for the time/money/agrevation(spelling?) it's not worth it to throw on shorties. If install hassles are a cocern then do mid-length's.

Long tubes are nice, but: California = Smog Nazis

Go with JBA shorties or the new BBK equal-length shorties. The JBAs are the only shorties to have decent gains over the stock manifolds. The BBK equal-lengths are too new for much data to go by, but they should offer decent gains. However, I have read where a couple people have installed them and they are a PITA to install because the tubes curl around where the bolts go and make accessing the bolts very difficult.

As I always point out to people, Cobra Killer used to put down over 660hp through JBA shorties. They can't be all that bad.

yeah im in california, it sucks.
ill have the heads off so installing the shorties should be fairly easy
anyway i found some jbas, im gonna go with them
