like the title says, i'm looking for some nice looking exhaust tips preferably 3" since i think 3.5" would look awkward on a '98. i know there's some mrt ones and borla ones out there, but i just can't fathom spending that much on something purely cosmetic.

I have 3 inch tips I purchased from Summit. Looks great and looks better than the slant cut magnaflow tips.

The stock exhaust tips look better than most of the ricer 4 inch tips that come with a lot of new catbacks for some ****ed up reason.

slp tips are good because they are doulble walles and 3.5 inch, and if you have a 2.5 inch system they will clamp right on, otherwise just go to your local mufler shop and see what they have.

For you guys who got them from Summit, did you get the weld on or the clamp on? And what length did you get? Did you have to cut them down, etc?

do you think i could have a link to that since there are so many exhaust tips from summit? also california has their strict laws so dumping it isn't that much of an option.

I would get them off ebay. You can get magnaflow tips cheap.

just go to magnaflow's website and find the part number you like. chances are they will be on ebay.
