Just go to the Ford parts counter and while you are there pick up a copy of the FRPP catalog.

go to an auto parts store and buy the same thing for 1/2 the price. Say you need a 2001 Mustang GT drain plug, should have a plastic collar around it.

any parts store should have it, and pick up a 16mm wrench while you're there

Bah, its fun to go to the stealership

I park right out front all the salesmen compliment me on the car. The customers all look like they wish they were not buying minivans and were instead buying Cobras. Hell Mustang sales probably increase just from my presence.

Then I walk past all the eager to help salesmen and head down to the parts counter where its a whole different world. I love hanging around the parts counter

+1 for the dealership, it's fun to drive the counter guys nutz by having them lookup part #'s from drawings for no other reason than just to be there. Then I leave with my $3.00 blanking plug. I wish I could get access to their software with the exploded drawings of all those parts, that would be really cool.

like i said, walk in and ask for F75Z-6730-BA. when i get customers walking in with the exact part number, they get a deal. o and the drawings are so-so. especially on the older cars. the newer ones are better.
