I have an engine I am about to put on ebay and need some places that ship freight. Any suggestions? Any idea how much it would cost to ship an engine from point A to point B?

Engine is coming out of Atlanta, GA.

I had good experiences with Central Freight, I shipped about 2,500lbs worth of weights through them and it only costed a few hundred, I'd imagine it would only be a couple hundred.

The easiest way to find out how much it costs is call them up, they are nice people and will help you out.

Crate it up good and let the buyer decide. Maybe he'll have a favorite.

Thanks for all of the replies. I am leaning more and more towards RL Carriers. They have a depot about 30 min from my house. I tried getting an online quote with them, but I dont know what Class an engine falls into. I knew I chose the wrong class when it said it was going to be $2006 to ship from GA to NY...haha.

I've recently had good luck with Roadway Express, with a complete engine/trans assembly on a skid.
