I bought 2 exhaust cutouts and was expecting to put them right after the header but my exhaust bends right there. I might be able to do it right after the bend but it puts them right at the H-pipe which will be really difficult to weld for me. Is there any reason I cant put them after the H-pipe? I've just always seen them right at the header. My exhaust scrapes there though and I'd have to angle them slightly up so the flange wont catch on the ground. I'm mostly doing it for fun not for any power gains but I will try it out at the track. If I angle them up a little do you think it will cause too much heat to the underside of the car? I really wouldn't do any driving with them open other than racing or for a little fun.
