Probably not, unless you found someone who wanted to do the swap.....buy why? Your SOHC and Novi 1000 has the potential to make as much power as a stock or even bolt on Cobra.

To be honest, for all of the trouble, money and agravation it's going to cost you to bring it up to Snake specs, you may as well sell the whole thing off and buy a Cobra.

Well, first off there was no '02 Cobra. Second anything pre-03 was non-Supercharged and wouldn't even stack up to your car as it is. Now you're stating that you want bolt-ons and Nitrous. I'm really not sure what you're looking for? FRPP sell a complete 4.6L and 5.4L DOHC crate engines for around the $5,200-$5,500 range. The T-56 6-speed is going to cost you about another $2600 on top of that.

To tell you the truth, I'm not 100% sure what all is involved, as I've never done one myself. Take a look over at the Corral. There are a couple of guys over there that have done it. There may be a few here as well, but I can't think of anyone off of the top of my head?

True, but shipping from Australia would be a killer. Nearly as expensive as it would be from Canada.

more trouble than it is worth IMO but if you do it just sell you setup. sell it seperatly as well IMO. sell the charger and the engine. hasseling with trying to trade would be a pain in the ass IMO. you should get enough money out of both selling them to get a used mach 1 or cobra power plant.

I would look for a used mach 1 motor over the cobra. seems to just run a little better. must be the cams or something.

the t-56 would be sweet though. i am going to do this eventually. I am just going to boost my 2v though.

you have to remeber you gears are going to be too tall to really take advantage of a 4v. so if you do the swap you will want to change those as well IMO.

there are many details to a swap and your car is not setup correctly for the rpm range anyway so I am not sure it is really worth it. I mean you can run 4.56 gears with a 4v although I would probably stick with 4.10's.
