im kinda curious to see this as well. ive heard about it but never actually seen it. a buddy of mine has a ls1 camaro and im sure he'd get a kick out of it
the originality and skill it would take to make that work is neat to me but thats about it. i dont feel anything other then a ford small block belongs in a fox and more power then you could ever want can be made with one. but jeese of all the engines to swap in there, an ls1? does it come with the cocky airhead ls1 owner who cant change oil too? you know to stand there through the whole swap and tell you how your car is about to run 3 second 1/4 miles.
What Numbles did was incredible. Even his purchased k-member with the correct motor mounts needed to be cut & welded. I still admire that project and have no issues stuffing a superior motor in a light car like the Mustang. Link to his thread: http://forums.stangnet.com/showthread.php?t=635304
