Obviously not a Mustang, but what vehicle with a 5.0 had a standard pump?

I want to run my belt like this when i delete my P/S and go with a manual rack

rev rotation started with the serpentien belt. Prior to that they were standard rot.

Some pumps can turn either way. It depends on the pump fan construction..

I heard the reverse rotation cools the heads first to stave off detination in a high performace engine. I dont know if a standard rotation would really affect anything.

Interesting about cooling the heads first.

So how would you run no A/C, P/S and smog with a stock reverse rotation pump?

I got a WP for a 85 Stang and a WP pulley for a 85 Thunderbird.

The WP is standard rotation and the pulley has grooves in it.

I would assume you could use a WP for an 85 Thunderbird also, though.
