Im looking to replace my stock rad in my 93 5.0 GT.

Anyone know which makes are better than others, or are they basically all the same?

If you are looking for a bang for the buck option. I highly recommend the griffin universal 31x19. I am really pleased with mine. I have also heard that the Summit/Jegs aluminiums are also really good for the price. Of course there is the Fluidine and BeCool if you have the cash to spend.

For your typical street car... Not enough to justify the cost or notice.

I have a Fluidyne and it's great. I had to replace one once though, my tranny line cooler fitting came unsealed and I had a tough time fixing it. So I just got another and sold it to someone who was going to block those off and use it on his 5-speed anyway

Other than that, no problems w/the actual radiator itself and it cools like a champ on my blown application.

all aluminum radiators will have basically the same thermal properties for street use so get the most affordable one (griffin universal)

Thanks everyone!

Yeah, its just for steet use, and some weekend track action!!

Do they all come with the trans cooler? I dont need that with a 5 -speed do I?

Also, does everyone use the stock expansion tank, on the new ally rad?

I like the flat top style, not the stock type!!

Anyone got any pics of their rad??
