which carb on a -70 stang?

I want to restore the engine from a 1970 mustang. The engine is a 302 2v. Can anyone tell me, what the original carburettor on this engine is supposed to be?

manual trans = DOAF-C
auto/no air = DOAF-D
auto/w/air = DOAF-U

throttle bore is 1.56
venturi size is 1.08
airflow is 2.87 cfm

My best guess would be 500 CFM seing how it's a 2 barrel on a 302

Like was posted by JB66m, an Autolite 2 bbl is what it had, but if you want a better carb, a list # 4412 Holley 500 cfm 2 bbl will bolt right on and give it a kick in the pants over an Autolite.

Somebody put on a weirdlooking (maybe homemade?) manifold with 2x2 barrel carbs on. The carbs are motorcraft 5200`s I think. Has any of you seen something like this before? And if you have, where? (I`m pretty sure it`s not original)

sure it doesnt have a 2x4 intake with 2v adapters?

FWIW, the flow rating of a 2v is figured differently than a 4v

Sounds like something I had thought about using an Edelbrock 2x4 intake ( or Offenhauser) using two Holley 2 bbls. ( I hate Edelbrock's 4 bbls-- too ugly ) Two Holley 4 bbls won't fit on these intakes.
