im almost finished with my v8 swap on my '87 and i need to know what clutch cable i need to use. i used the '86 cable but apparently its too short (was a b**** to get on the fork) and is not alowing the clutch to fully ingage. with the pedal released the clutch fork is directly in the middle of the the opening in the bellhousing.
so i need to know is there any difference between the 86(5.0) and 87(2.3) quadtant that would make the cable 2in. too short and what cable should i use?
