when i pull out my tranny to put in the bigger converter i want to put on a set of headers. im in a toss up between the mac shorties and mac long tubes on my 95 gt. i kinda hesitant(sp) to get the longtubes because i dont if they are worth the extra money and if you get that much extra power out of them. let me hear your thoughts. thanks.

well since u already have a mid pipe that goes with ur current stock shorties. i would suggest staying with shorties unless you want a new mid pipe and like O2 sensor stuff. i a mgoing to hopefulyl be putting in some shorties this x-mas.

As opposed to shorty's, lt's will give some more low end but mostly more mid rpm range tq which is good on a street car.

If you've been running shorty's then the mid pipe has to be dealt with.

If your car is now lowered or will be later on then know that lt's can scrape on stuff.

IMHO, I think my tq curve is very good and my lt's have a good bit to do with that.

what kinda headers are you guys running? also do you think that the longtubes make that much more horsepower that shorties? by the way my car already bottoms out due to the side exhaust, and will even more when i lower my car.
