6 qts of valvoline maxlife and a fram TG2 filter. I dont buy the cheap orange fram filter, i buy the better of them all.

they all suck! actually the TG fram is pretty good, but at $11 you would be wayy better off with a M1 filter.

Good off the shelf Filters
Motorcraft
Purolator

Good off the shelf oils
5W-30 M1
5W-20 or 5W-30 motorcraft oil
Chevron or HAvoline Dino oils

Bad Filtes
Fram (all)

Bad Oil
Valvoline

ok, so is it better to run 5w20 or 5w30? and now that were in the summer months, is it as important to run 5 weight or can you run 10? or doesnt it matter?

I've already explained this in this thread. Scroll up and read it. You can run 5w-20 or 5w-30. The choice is yours but personally, I'de rather run 5w-30 for that better protection when the motor gets hot and during the summer months especially.
