I am going to be getting new Headlights because my old ones are Dim, Cracked, discolored, chipped, broke all of the above! I was going to get Projectors because I like the look and I hear they are brighter! I can't decided between these two! black and chrome! Also I was wondering if I can get them any cheaper than this!(Good Quality) And are there any other types of good lookin headlights that you'd reccomend! Thanx:SNSign:

A bunch of people sell those things on ebay, prices range from like 150 to 200. I think chrome would look better on your car, with the light colored grilles and stuff.

Here's my Zinc Yellow with the Chrome ones. Get them on eBay for half of what mustangtuning wants. I added the clear fogs also.

It's too bad they don't offer those with at least a side reflector in clear, let alone amber. If I was paying that much, I would want them to be legal?

How is the sealing on those lights, do they leak, fog up at all. If they do, that is where buying OEM Ford headlights is a better bet.

Buy the clear projector headlights on ebay for sure, and save some money.

Do consider these also.

FYI, the lense on these is pure clear, not smoke like some people think, they call them smoke because of the black bezel behind the lense cover.

If you really want to see better go HID. Theres conversion kits that are plug n play for $200-$300. Look on E-bay. I think the headlights on my Mustang are crap but I dont like the projectors so I'll be going HID soon.

Why does everyone bring up the legal issue? Alot of you have illegally tinted windows so what's the dif?

A cops probably not going to pull you over for the lights or tint unless you give them a reason. And if you do get pulled over I bet they get you for your dark tint and won't even notice the headlights.

I don't think its about cops pulling you over but more about spot roadside inspections and actual motor vehicle inspection. I know here in NJ some cops will let tint slide if its light and some Private inspection stations will also "look away" when inspecting your car but headlights are a DOT certified item that they will not let slide.

I Still Don't know which ones to stick on my GT the Black or Chrome! Right now I am thinking Chrome because I have the Chrome wheels, exhaust tips, fender emblems, it ties in.

if you must, get black.

but in all honesty, just get smoked replacements with the cleared side lens(so no amber part) and some silverstar bulbs, and you will be happy. projectors dont really make any better output than stock, if your lens are foggy and bulbs dim then you will see a improvement, but if you are using new lenses and new bulbs, you wouldnt know a difference.

if anything, get new headlights(non projector) and silverstar bulbs, if those arent enough, a HID kit. and no, projector headlight conversion isnt illegal, but a HID conversion on a non HID car is, just remember that.

Honestly it depends on the look your goin for. The Silver Stars are available for the factory style housing and the Projector housing and are the same wattage. You should be able to pick them up at any good auto parts store.

Here's a link to the Sylvania site, there a link so you can put in you zip and it will give the nearest deater.

Correct, it's the bulb not the housing.
