I may be buying a used eibach pro kit from another site and was wondering which shocks and struts most people use with it? I was originally going to buy a kit, but figured if I could piece one togeather cheaper I would just do that. Also, the kit has been on for 3 years, not sure the mileage, but will that hurt anything? Im planning on buying new spring isolators. Can I run the kit on my stock shocks/struts till I get new ones without hurting anything?

if you got money to spend, get bilstein shocks/struts. read the stangnet reviews section and you'll see why.

I am using Tokico non-adjustables with my Pro-Kit and have no complaints about the ride quality

how well do the mach1 shocks and struts work with the pro kit, and how do they compare to aftermaket tokico's?

the mach1s and bullitts are both revalved tokicos. you can get the bullitt dampers from www.stangsuspension.com at a good price. i THINK they are slightly shorter rods then the mach1 because of the slightly lower stance...

I have the same setup that you are going with and recently redid my shocks and strusts with Bilstein HDs. $465 shipped off ebay and worth EVERY, FREAKIN, PENNY.

Trust me, go with the Bilsteins. The ride quality is as close to stock being lowered as you will get.

I have the Bilsteins on my 2003 Chevy S10 SS/ZQ8 suspension package. They are really nice, for a truck this thing handles. If money isnt a factor or you just want the best of everything on your Stang, get the Bilsteins. If not I would suggest the Tokico HP or Tokico Mach 1. I just ordered the Pro kit and Mach 1's for mine. I did a lot of research first and most are very please with this set up.

I have the Eibach Pro-Dampners (designed to be used with the pro-kit) . They are absoultley awesome. I would recommend these with 100% satisfaction. Why bother getting any other shocks when you can have the ones DESIGNED to work with the pro-kit????? They are reasonably priced too, i got mine for 430 shipped

I ran the prokit for about a year (18k) on my stock shocks and they were fine. Eventually I saw some tire wear and decided to change them out. You will be fine for a while, just don't make it a permanent thing

Yeah he is agreeing with you. haha I did the exact same thing when I was first on here. I was like "is he calling me stupid or agreeing with me?"

In regards to the question, I bought Bilsteins off of ebay for like $465 to go with my H&R springs and the ride quality feels no different than stock and corners MUCH better. The Bilsteins are the best on the market. If you want to be able to adjust them then go with tokico's or something.

I got all my parts from Maximum Motorsports (www.maximummotorsports.com) (except the Bilstein struts/shocks which I had gotten from ebay for $469 shipped).

H&R Super Sport Springs - $229
Bilstein Struts/Shocks - $469
Caster/Camber Plates - $199

I paid for professional installation at Chicane Sport Tuning (www.chicanesport.com) which costed me $280 (4 hours of labor), plus $49.00 for the alignment.
