Obviously one of you Stanger's pointed out to me that I "really" should have swapped pumps already...........Trickflow tested with a 190 ......would 255 be overkill or should that be the one....

I put in a 255, n my mods aren't that significant. I don't think it's overkill, i would get a 255.
I got a Walbro 255 from BBK. has been great

Keep in mind that our fuel system returns any excess fuel that is not used. Just to reinforce your decision, a 255 will never be overkill as what is "excess" is simply returned to the tank.

Just out of curiosity

How much more would one save by going to the smaller 190 pump these days?

I remember when I bought my 190 that I paid 89 + 10 shipping, but don't remember whom I bought it off from.

I used to have the same thought as Grady - it seems like there was a bigger price jump from one size to the next. Now they all seem about the same; it doesnt seem to make sense really to not go with the bigger one, if there is any chance at all the extra flow might be needed down the line..................
