Which Springs For Me?

I'm happy with my Sportlines on my GT; it sits evenly, and rides pretty good still. I am probably gonna need the CC plates, but I don't drive it that much, so it's not really a big deal right now...

Likewise, I like them but don't have CC plates yet either but the car isn't driven ofter...just couldn't pass up the deal.

Well, I've narrowed it down to 2 springs. I considered the Bullitt/Mach1 kit ... but that just won't be low enough for my taste.

It will be either Eibach Sportline's or H&R Super Sport's. One problem left ... will a 255/45/17 clear if I get either of those? The sidewall is pretty thick ... but that's what I have to deal with for now. I don't really care for the "tucked" look ... will it look like this with those tires?

Doug, what size you run up front?

Also, it looks like I may be getting the Tokico HP struts & shocks. Any feedback on these?

Those be what I run - Shane made me a great deal on his barely used ones. Come to think of it, I think he ran H&R's and the HP's before he went to Bilstein coilovers - maybe see if he has a pic of the stance (and feedback about the combo) with his old suspension [if someone with the same stuff didnt already post]? His taste is impeccable.

I am pretty easy to please (I had the OEM dampers on the car before the HP's) but I think they do a real nice job, esp with what is already not much spring movement (compression) to work with. My OEM dampers were pretty tossed, and there was a very marked improvement with the HP's. That's the best I got.

Those H&R's look pretty nice.................

Good luck with the decision. :nice:
