well i have an 03 gt, and i wanted to supercharge it. I know there are different ones out there and wanted to know which yall reccommend for the most hp gain or overall performance?

well i don't want to spend over a few thousand, so i guess 3 grand is max? or is that too low, i am kinda new to this

ok, well what is my best bet to get high hp gains, w/out spending so much. Right now the enigne is bare stock.

First thing should be 4.10 gears and a Diablo Predator.

You need to remember that Ford has already gotten all the cheap and easy HP out of your engine so any substantial gains are going to be pricey.

With a budget of $3000 though you can do some cool stuff...

You can get a procharger for like 3500. Its about the cheapest S/C out there. And its intercooled, which beats everyone else HANDS DOWN in power vs price. You can buy a 6PSI KB for like 3500, but its not intercooled and makes around 340RWHP....procharger makes around 375ish.

it all depends on what you want. Centri, Roots, twin screw blower.....

my personal opinion is save up for a #9 intercooled KB.

Ya I would do a Pro Charger. Thats what Im getting for Christmas (fingers crossed). Its intercooled and you dont have to tap in to your oil pan which is another plus. Im gonna do 8 psi for now and then once i get all forged internals crank it up. A KB would be cool but you really need to take it to KB to get it installed and I dont want to drive all the way to indy to get that done so Pro Charger for me

Nitrous would be the cheapest fix.

And the point is...? You don't have to have them install it...in fact, it is a complete kit that is fairly straightforward and well documented - not for everyone, but for most, this can be done by themselves. This is one, if not the easiest, safest superchargers to install yourself.
Have to drive to Indy...jeez...pleeeeaaassseee.
