89 LX Vert - Which White Rim?

Just trying to figure out what set of rims to go with. Here is my car http://home.neo.rr.com/abrazie/stang.jpg 89 LX Vert. I'm selling the ponies to my brother for his 88 Black LX vert.

99-04 GT rims and Powder Coat'em white, 17x9
$220 a set or more plus 200 to coat'em.

95 Cobra R's in white in 17 or 18", 9" wide
$436 a set for 17 or 18"

S Style White 18x9's
$620 a set.

I figure 500 in tires, mounted and balanced for the 17's and 800 mounted and balanced for the 18's. I'm leaning towards a 17 for cost and rubbing issues.

I'm assuming you're going 5 lug since you posted the '99+ rims...i would pass on all 3 and go for '98 R's since you seem to like the thin 5 spoke style...those rims are HOT. I've never seen them in white either so you might be a first for that.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the only two differences I saw between the 95 and 98 are: the 98 has a fatter lip and is 1" narrower than the 95.

The reason why I'm considering the 99-04 GT wheels is because I found them pretty cheap, brand new in boxes. My other thought is that the 95 r's are already availble in white for what it would cost to have the GT wheels coated, not to mention that it'd be easier to find a replacement if I taco'd one.

Side note, I forgot to mention that the 99-04's dont' come with center caps. It'd be a pain in the ass to match the color just right.

I even thought about 03 cobra's in white. I contacted verde wheel who makes american muscle's wheels, but no one has replied to my emails. I just saw the vanilla ice video last week, looks like it had crappy 5 star rims from sears.
