Okay guys I have nothing to do today so I decided to wire up the lights on my autometer guages. Now they have two wires like usual one positive one negative. I have grounded the negatives under the dash. (I have also tested the lights so I know they work) I crawled under the light switch there to see which wire I need to splice into. And there were a bunch coming out of it so scratch that. Now I am here, I have a wiring diagram for the 69's but have no idea how to read it. Anybody know what color the wire is that I need to splice the positive side of the autometer guages into, so that when I click it out once it will come on with my interior lights and then stay on when I click out again to get my headlights on. I know it's a lot but bear with me. I really need to get this done.

It should be the blue wire with the red stripe on the harnes that plugs into your dash cluster.

So your talking about the clip that hooks into the back of my cluster. Oh hell I hope I can reach it without taking that thing out.

Sweet I will check that side out too and see if it's easier to get to for the splice. Thanks Shotsy.

Thanks mustangman70 I have the gauge pod, but I don't have the console wired up. I did it with the wire by the clock, wasn't a big deal. Thanks for everything guys I appreciate it.

I have a test light that is pointed at the probe end. I just turned lights on and off until my test light lit up. I ended up using a wire by the clock too.
