What a bunch of idiots. They have no clue. There is one dude who has a head on his shoulder:

no no ...13 sec 1/4? Try mid 12's .. 12 flat with drag radials and a solid rear... and those things can just chip and swap a pulley and be running low 11's with 500+ horsepower.. they're no joke.. I think they're mean *** cars.. and you're talking about torque winning races.. they have a whole lot more torque than the 350z LOL! If they put on some drag radials to get the power to the ground they takeoff like rockets from redlights.. and the new one.. wow.. 450+ hp supercharged 5.4 Liter Cobra R motor... mmmmmm shelby cobra

HAHA, that made me laugh real good just reading the first 4 posts. Here in my town anyway, terminator cobras are pretty rare (or i guess any year cobra for that matter). Even rarer that vettes almost. 350zs here are like v6 mustangs or camaros. They are a dime a dozen, mostly chicks own them coz they are "cute", and they are pretty expensive for what you get. At least with the cobra, you get what you pay for..

Those cars are very nice and fun to drive... however I HIGHLY doubt their argument about handling will ever come into play with those posters and I doubt any of them have ever seen a rumble strip.

I say, let them be blind. Yes, they have the great looking car and it must have a nice stereo.. but at the track, they can look as pretty as they want coming in 2nd place.

whatever your interest is I guess. The reason I would choose cobras over 350z (or any car that can boast better handling out of the box) is because I prefer to drag race. And as sure as road race looks like fun, its not my cup of tea. None of that refined v6 for me, give me brute v8 power anyday

Wow, do they realize the 350Z is the official Cheezeball car to own right now. Or that the Cobra handles pretty well with it's IRS (they probably think it is a live axel). I actually considered a 350Z about 2.5 years ago, and was turned off by how sluggish it was, and it is kind of bland looking.

Also, what would win my race with them? The 466 rwhp or the wimpy 474 rwtq, which cost me a whole $1500 to get to.
Because they are obviously torque monsters right.

I raced one from a roll in third at 35 mph, only saw it in the mirror. when it finally caught up at the next light, the driver complimented my exhaust, while his girlfriend smiled.
And as far as handling, I don't have a rear sway bar, and my straight axle handles beyond my comfort zone.

I wonder if these idiots realize a stock 02 gt can keep up with them. i know i did when i raced my friend's bro in his 05 350z, i had him 1st to second, he caught up in third, and slowly gained in 3rd to 4th.

its possible, but it would look like ****. would have to spend all the money on motor and not appearance. which is what most guys do. go to the track and you'll see alot of ratty lookin cars running low 11's/high 10s for that money.

i too have seen alot more Z cars around than terminator cobras. i think they, like MANY people, are falling into the myth that "because its foreign, it must be better" way of thinking when it comes to sports cars. i remember an article way back when that camaro SS anniversary edition came out and it pulled at better skid pad rating bone stock than a Civic Si. not that that is a huge shock, but tell that to an import owner and they wouldnt beleive you. i've been in many debates with other sports car owners who fall right into the assumption that an american car is overweight, lazy and inefficient and only competes due to its large displacement engine, which of course is only there due to the laziness of an american car company to develop new technology
