I have a Ford 9" with a 3.73 rear end ratio. G Force T 5 trans.
I took the car to the track for the first time this past weekend and the car ran great. First time car has been driven hard.
However...I now have this fairly loud whining sound that only occurs while at cruising speed..It seems to go away or not be as bad when I am accelerating.
No noise at all while coasting or deccelerating..
Cruising at 30-50+ MPH in 3rd or 4th and lift off the throttle no noise.
Barely bump the throttle again and the noise comes back.
I checked the flud in the rear end and it is fine.
The noise is coming from the rear of the car..I can't really tell but it seems like it "might" be coming from the passenger side rear wheel area??
Any thoughts suggestions?
