I get this whistling sound from about 1/3-2/3 throttle. It has a TB spacer, and the guy I bought it from stated that was the source. Doesnt effect anything, just sounds wierd.

Remove the supercharger and try it again.

Seriously though, it's probably a vacuum leak or the TB isn't seated right, check the fitment and look for loose bolts. Does it actually sound like it's coming from the TB?

in the inlet of the throttle body were the vacuum tube comes out, there can be a lip that can cause a whistle. It's pretty common on BBK TBs and can be fixed by grinding it flush

Yeah I'll post a pic in a few minutes

That lip can cause a whistle, just needs to be ground flush with the wall.

Thank you....Honestly, I haven't had the time to check over much on the car. I just made sure it ran, and drove well before I bought it, and made sure it didn't have any stress cracks around the control arms.

It does have the bbk cold air kit, and he did mention something about grinding so I am going to assume its a bbk. Right now the hood is wired shut, but I am putting a hood bolt kit on it tomorrow.

The only work I am doing to it right now is the paint! As you can see from my garage pic its proably the ugliest car on here! Im going grey primer until Im ready to do th ebody work in the spring.
