thank you. 1 other person that feels like cowl should be a necessity mod. nothing is gayer than a 3-4 inch cowl on a stock 5.0

im also not not a big fan of cowl hoods, but i got a small (1.5") one on mine after the wreck. i rather like it, its not all up in your face, but rather subtle. plus its lighter than a stock steel hood.

who cares if you got a cowl on a stocker, it it looks good than why not. I mean its light and helps with heat so there is function. Of course you have an opinion and thats why you dont have one on your car. If i want to go fast ill hop on my bike, if i want to cruise in a cool lookin car ill jump in the stang

I personally like cowl hoods. But I'm with 313, I prefer the 1.5" instead. I looked at the 2.5" and thought it was much taller than what I wanted to put on my car. Here's a few pictures of mine.

Mines actually a 2"... might be a 2.5". I can't fit the motor under a stocker w/ the intake set up I have.

Painting em can be pricey. That cowl is the one that went through the fire (check the fox pic post up to). They had to do major work to get it that nice.

ill advised
