Has anyone upgraded the wiring on a 99-04 GT? I'm curious if the wiring only has to be upgraded from the battery to the fpdm or if the wiring has to be upgraded from the battery, to the fpdm, then to the fuel pumps.

D Agostino Racing says that the wiring only has to be done from the battery to the fpdm, but Lethal P says the whole thing has to be wired.

Has anyone installed dual fpdms? I'm thinking about this too, but there is a problem when installing the heavy wires in the hat. Some people just drill holes (which is not safe) and others made custom stuff.

To be done RIGHT.IT should be done from battery to fpdm to fuel pumps.

Been there LONG ago.

A single moddied fpdm will support 600+ rwhp with no issues with the wiring upgrade. If you need tips and pics let me know.

Yes!! Pics and tips would be great. I am going to buy a stage 2 fpdm and want to do the wiring upgrade. I found a thread on how to upgrade the wiring on a 03-04 cobra but the wiring scheme is differnet on a 99-04 gt. I'm stuck. I don't know which wires to cut/splice that go to the fpdm.

I know I need a relay, 30 amp inline fuse, and 10 gauge wiring.

Please help. I would appreciate it greatly.

we're going to be doing dual FPDM's in my 04GT in a couple weeks when Lethal starts shipping out the Fore Precision fuel hats. if you haven't seen this piece its real trick. basically a billet hat assembly with completely upgraded wiring, sealed yblock up top to run your -8 feedline and the gates submersible hoses for the pumps. I already have the dual FPDM harness, 2 GT supercar pumps, and all of the braided line. this is the finishing part of my current buildup so I can't wait to get it done so we can start tuning on this thing!!!

Yeah, I looked at those, which are nice, but I just can't justify spending another 400 dollars on top of either my modified fpdm or dual harness.
