I'll be there.....i'll bring my car but it will most likely be in the parking lot....it has to stay hidden untill it gets paint...

I went to FFW Norwalk on a Sunday (first time I'd been to a FFW event) and was not impressed by the car show turnout at all...similar feelings on the vendors. I don't ever have Saturdays off anymore, so I assume I won't be able to make it.

I was planning on coming up, but I'll be coming home that saturday from my vacation in Aruba. I had the family change the date though for next year so I can make it then. Maybe my car will be running by then...

To me it's a long ride, i need a trailer before i'll bring my car up there. That's a tank of gas there and a tank of gas back. Plus then if i drag my car and it breaks then having the car trailered back to my house would cost like a 1k.

yeah, i agree. Its 2 hrs drive for me, i trust my car to drive up there, BUT i dont 100% trust that i wont break anything on the track if i race. I have AAA, but it only covers 100 miles......

Good deal. I'm going to try to get up there with my buddy Jeff (twoturbofox). Maybe he'll have a tune by then and can get kicked off the track for needing a cage.

I'll keep an eye out up there for you and your car.

ok, whell i've decided that i will run my car but i will have to be easy on it. My brother is gonna run his 95' gts and he talked me into it.

SO, anyone who has been to a fun ford event, can you tell me about what classes they have? do they have any good "beginner" type races where i can just take it down the track and see how it runs? I've only raced the car on a track Once lol.

Then i'll enter it in the carshow to try and get worst car lol......no paint and bodyparts falling off, etc lol!

If your car breaks down AAA it to one of our houses. Rent a flatbed within a few days and come get it.

I'll be there, either in my escort or in the Stang. Hopefully I'll have the following leaks fixed: Exhaust, Rear Main Seal, Differential. I also am hoping to have my new Sparco Torino 2's installed as well as the headlights that I havnt bought yet. Oh and I also just got some Nitto's to get my 60ft down. Ill try to get up there sometime this comming week for a steet night, I dont want to go out there cold-its been a year since Ive driven my car, even longer since Ive gone down the 1320

Green, there is bracket racing which I may do and there is also True Street which I did in 03-the last time I drag raced. The True Street is fun, you race a few times, go on a cruise then bracket race. You can buy back in if you lose or break out.

Anyone else going?
