I reserve judgement until its done, but so far I prefer the simplicity of the old design. There are way too many little logos and links all over and seems very busy.

Post count and join dates are useful when a newb wants to be a smartass to veterans and we gotta put em in check. But, on the other hand, one can argue that both counts are irrelevant to knowledge as one member could be a newb and has a ton of knowledge, compared to a veteran who has been here for 10+ years but doesnt know much.
