I've been looking all around for a new hood. The last one i bought was from ebay, and it was horrible. It was about 2" shorter than stock! So, I'm trying to get together some good manufacturers of hoods that will bolt on with very little modification. Thanks guys....btw im looking for non-stock hoods, like a cobra r or a saleen type etc.

do you have any more angles of that hood? It looks incredible and the fit and finish looks top-notch

Wow, that's how the hood fit w/o modification? That's awesome, I have a cobra r that fits like ASS, and have been wanting a new hood for a while. Car looks great man.

Listen, i was thinking....while looking on their website......How would a 2000cobrar hood and a stalker front bumper look? I really need a bumper also because i got my last one from mr.bodykit.com.....and it dosent fit correct at all....i mean ITS BAD.....so it has to go before i paint. Anyone seen such a beast?

I bought my hood from Cervini at a swap meet in Englishtown about 4 years ago. Back then when you would buy at a show they would knock $ 100. off the list price I don't know if they still do that yet. You could call an ask if they still do an what shows they will be attending

So you guys are saying no on the eBay hoods? Damn those things were cheap too. So exactly HOW bad was the fitment on the eBay hoods. I dont mind doing a little work on it.

This is an ABC Exclusive Cobra RR hood which is like a 3" rise. The fit and finish is pretty good. I had to use 2 body washers on each hinge between the hinge and the hood to get it to sit flush with the fenders but otherwise it sits great. You may notice in this pic that the hood looks like it swoops down in a way that doesnt sit flush with the drivers fender directly over the headlight. That wasn't a factory defect, i had to smooth the edge over because it was cracked a bit (used hood). I'd give this hood an 8 outta 10 because it gave me a few headaches, but overall looks great i think
