Just what the title says. Also Does anyone know the actual stock length of Fox Length axles? Are they 29 3/16"?

Also never heard anything bad about FMS.

They hold up pretty well in OEM form after all.

Another vote for FMS or FRPP

Richmond is nice, but they tend to have a little more gear wine than the FRPP units. I have had both and that was all I noticed.

i was at summit pickin up my gears and the salesman there told me that richmond and ford gears are made by the same company...is that right???

If you need more then Ford Racing can give you then you need a 9".

i just had a set of 3:90 Motive gears installed,very quiet.They work great and they dont make any more noise than my stock gears did

Medina! about 30 min south of cleveland, i live right on I-71 sometimes i would just drive up to summit to oogle over all the **** they had that i couldnt buy because i have no $$$

I vote for FMS/FRPP.

On a side note, I was shopping around for a gear installer a while back, and a local, quite reputable gear installer told me that Motive gears used to be of great quality, but they had switched manufacturing plants to somewhere overseas, and weren't as reliable anymore.

check out quarter master for some of the lightweight stuff if you look into racing. more whining on the street. right now i have 3:73 frpp and it works great

I have used both Ford Racing and Motive. Both fit perfectly and work great. Most recent was a 4.56 install in my 8.8 upgrade.

I have heard Richmond's are the strongest, but Ford's are easier to install. The Richmond's tend to whine more if they are not properly shimmed. I have had Ford gears in 3.27, 3.55, 3.73, and 4.10 and have never had trouble with them.
