He had been running high 12's all night long as I had so we figured it would make for a great race...
Well he had a slightly quicker reaction time, but my car hooked and I got the early lead and had him by about 1/2 car length up to the 1000 foot mark... Then his HP took over at me and he blasted by me like I was slowing to check out the action in front of a whore house!!! At the top end he got the light with a 12.60 @110 to my 12.75 @ 106... All motor on both cars...
BTW -- Those were best ET's for both of us!!!!!
Was a good night... I got to do a little tuning, but have some more to do... I'm loving the wideband/data logging and PMS set up... I should have done this a long time ago...
Also, the ECTED spool is great... Got my best 60' times ever on the motor with 1.75... Felt that the car was really hooking solid and causing a lot of weight transfer... Actually, I might need to change the springs to drag spring set up rather than stock rear/4 cyl front... I think I'm getting too much lift now!!!
Anyway... Will be several weeks before I can get out again, but I hope to see a lot of Stangs there next time...
