first there was only a clicking noise under the dash. The headlights would turn on the dash would light up, the rpm needle would move but the car would not start.
months later when i attempted again, I scored a free battery the car would still not funtion right. the dash lit up 2 times and then never again. some weird stuff would happen with the rpm both times and then die. the head lights would no longer turn on neither would the dash.
so i read the forums for more ideas and was over whelmed. but i'd still like to thank everyone who had great input . but i didn't even have money to buy a volt meter
early this month. my building associaton sent me a certified mail that said if i don't have current paperwork on my car they would have it towed by Nov, 28, 2007, Wednesday! Not even a month notice.
i talked to my co-worker who loves mustangs too. he told me bout his friend who had a similar problem. Told me how they changed this and that. They did a lot of work to the car with what they thoguth was the problem. then finally they changed the battery wires and the car fired right up.
I took the newer battery to checkers and found out it was fried and to small for the stang. changed out the possitive battery cable (the negitvie cable was to hard to change under the car) & put the new battery in.
I said a little prayer. turned the key....
the car fired right up!!!!

I got a loan and will be getting my paper work to up date my car. then i'll use it as a daily driver. whoo hooo!!
