why a supercharger compared to N/A?

which would be cheaper/better...way to get into the low 12's in the 1/4?

big question... why?

basically im asking why would i pick a supercharger over going N/A?

Basically, because a supercharger RAMS air into the motor, creating a lot more power than an N/A motor which sucks only as much air into the engine that it needs.

ok so would you recommend a Vortech V-1 S-trim Blower? my goals are to run low 12's high 11's. i would be using GT-40 heads, edelbrock performer intake and a custom cam.... at say 10-12psi what would i be making?

11's are possible with that combo......look at mine in my sig im gonna run solid 10's with my v-1 at 12psi.

Check #'s in my sig, pump gas n/a stroker with out of the box parts and other than cheapo mac upper/lower control arms a stock rear suspension.

You should be able to go low 12's on motor alone, provided proper gearing and tires.
