i removed my old plugs and noticed they were white
i have been testing a 50 shoot out on my car with the nx kit
the nx kit is a wet kit so why am i getting a lean condition with such a little shoot

how do i get more fuel in there if i am running lean i cant go to a 75-100shoot until i find out why i am getting a lean condition with only a 50shoot

i replaced the old plugs with autolite plugs (one step colder)

the plugs that were in there were motorcraft plugs that came with the car
i will have to check the plugs (autolite) i put in 2days ago to see what they look like

if i am using wrong plugs what plugs should i go with 1-2steps colder?

#1 - get the correct plugs

#2 - invest in a good dyno tune with whatever shot you wanna run

it could possibly salvage your engine, especially since you are going lean on that small of a shot. also, you may need to change the fuel pill. the charts they give you aren't an exact science. :nice:

can you post pics? he might just be confusing the Sulfer deposits on the plug from the nitrous with a lean condition, so just to rule this out pics would be helpful.. Also how long was it before you checked the plugs after the run? to be 100% sure you need to shut the car down after you cross the traps and glide off and pull a plug otyherwise it may be something else besides the nitrous, as the results can be masked. it is much easier to do on the dyno. BTW I run a NOS dry kit with a 150 shot on my 2000 and no problems..

here ya go

:stupid: the best place too test this is the dyno. change fuel pills untill you get a good A/F ratio

the things that some with these kits arent always too acurate as far as fueling and jetting goes...

We once installed a 50 shot on a focus and it put out an extra 115hp at the front wheels..... so those bits came right out!!!

you should always check these things out on a good dyno....

Stock plugs are platinum, NOT nitrous friendly.

You want Autolite 103's (these are copper plugs, one heat range colder. 764s (stock heat range/copper may be okay for no more than an occasional 50shot), gap them at 35 and change them about every 10k miles.

Your intake will thank you for a trip to the dyno to check that A/F as well.

thxs guys for the input

i will have to check the gap on my plugs to make sure they are correct they are autolite 103 but my gap maybe off a little

when i put the nx kit in my car there diagram was way off as to hooking the system up in the process it damaged my msd window boxs the wires on the diagram were crosses

i will up the pill on the fuel side and see how it works out

thxs again for all your help guys

you are on the right track now. but i still think you should check all this on a dyno,.

ok i ran the car with the 50shot and checked the spark plugs they are fine
seems that the motorcraft plugs were platnium and that was why they were white

so i am going to see if i can get a dyno all-motor then 50 or 75shot see what the car is putting down
