Why did ford change the body style?

95_cobra123... you were right... it was all about the women.
And that is why the stang is alive and the f-body died... when they couldn't sell their v-6's to the market (that had v-6 sn-95's selling like hotcakes) because their nose and dash was too long (girls like to be able to see the front of the car) and the thing had a terrible understeer on the brakes, so they tried to beef up with the LS1 and take over the performance market... problem was, the power that they made, also made them more expensive... a no go for a budget sportster. Sales dropped dramatically when they ignored the v-6 sorority girl market.

Yeah, haulbalz, With my comment, I expected to get more of a rise out of you sn95ers than I did! I guess ya'll must not be fighting back on this because you know it's true!!! Fox bodies do RULE! Anyway, thanks for humoring me, man.

I don't know 'bout you guys but I remember when the '94 Mustang first came out. "It is what it was" or something close that in the adds owned me. I was totally blown away by the styling and knew someday I would own one. On 04-10-02 that became a reality for me. I just paid off the car loan and own it outright and don't plan on selling it....EVER. :D
