I was thinking today that

The SVT F150 is called the lightning and the SVT Mustang is called the cobra. So why didn't the focus or countour get a second name??

just curious

all the good names were taken, what could you call them?

I guess the Ford Focus Sloth and the Contour Cricket might work

I agree...the SVT Focus and Contours were some of the best handling cars that Ford ever built...and they weren't that slow for V6's and I4's...

Probably the cost of getting a good name was too much, considering they Ford didn't care too much about those cars.

SVT Mustang Cobra
SVT F-150 Lightning
SVT Contour Crusher/Cornflakes
SVT Focus Mongoose/Ankle Biter
