Wideband controller product comparisons

I am using the Innovate system. They do not control anything but do monitor and record A/F ratio and RPM and any other system you want to monitor. It looks like this....

I think that the Autometer unit is almost identical to the Innovate kit with the LC-1 and gauge. Since I just added Autometer gauges, my strong preference is for an Autometer A/F wideband gauge. All I really want is real time read-outs. Recording and playback would be a huge plus, however, and I think that the Autometer provides for this

Notes:
Includes 8 ft. tubing or wiring harness.
LED digital display.
Two 0-5v data output feeds for ECU, data acquisition unit, or Laptop tuning
Auto-Dimming gauge brightness feature
Includes high-quality Bosch wideband O2 sensor
Display data in Lambda or numerical A/F ratio
User programmable range
Peak recall/memory

It does have a real time readout. Which ever unit you buy in my opinion is is the best tuning tool you can buy for the money because it takes all the guess work out of tuning a carb for peak performance.

the sock-stuffers at Moritz Tuning, rip-off artists extraordinaire, tuned my car for peak rwhp without regard to A/F. As it turns out, my car was running pig rich and I was just washing the piston rings with gas. I want a wideband controller so I can monitor the situation for the future.

The only issue with monitoring real time info is that you must take your eyes off the track to see what the readout is telling you. The record function allows you to watch the entire run from start to finish w/o looking taking your eyes off the road.

i use a dyno jet WBC on my 03 cobra nad i like it alot. as said above you can control the red light to come on for any of the programable options (throttle position, rpm, airfuel, or the programmable output which can be used to control a n2o kit). I have mine set up as a shift light now and the WBC controls my nitrous kit, it only comes on at 95% throttle and above 3200 rpm. its well priced if you know where to buy it from.
