wideband O2 sensor bung install help

Got some exhaust work done today. Had them weld in a O2 sensor bung for my AEM wideband right after the collector for my LT's. The shop said they would try to weld it as high as they can get it without pulling off the x pipe, and it ended up being about the 3 o'clock position. AEM says to make sure the sensor when in stalled is about 2 o'clock or else moisture gets in the sensor. Think i'll have probs with the sensor now since its at 3 o'clock?

may shorten the lifespan of the sensor,I would hook up a switch to the power and not turn the unit on until 20 or 30 seconds after I started up the car.thats how I had my W/B set up in my SVO and I never had a problem.

AEM does not want water (condensed water vapor from the exhaust) sloshing onto the sensor so they say 2 o'clock but 3 o'clock is OK, too. If they said 3 o'clock, somebody would put the sensor at 5 or 6 o'clock and howl about a short sensor life. Any position that is clockwise between 9 and 3 is OK (and, obviously, 3 to 9 clockwise is not OK).
