Can you guys that have wideband tell me what brand you got and why? I am getting it in a month or so and was wondering what my best route is. I know AEM sells it for around 300. I have also heard good things about the Innovate kit.

Also if anyone has pictures of their wideband gauges could you post them please. I can't decide where to put it. Probably on the column I think.

Thanks in advance!

I have but not yet installed (next project) a Zeitronix ZT-2 WB. This is available with or without the gauge. My motivation with this one is that you can real time datalog using a laptop (comes with software which can be updated for free from their site). Initially suggested to me by Don from LaSota Racing.

I would guess that you want this not so much as a tuning tool but to be able to confirm your A/F ratio. My application is to assist in the tuning process.

I run the AEM. I got it because I liked the fact that it came in a gauge type of configuration, it has a 0-5v output, and I had friends running it with success. I have mine mounted right on top of the steering column with the single gauge pod that autometer used to sell that puts the gauge right to the right of the button for the hazard lights.

I have an Innovate LC-1 (still in the box). I got it as it seems there is a ton of info on how to get it working with the tweecer software and what not.

I would like to eventually get a guage, Killer do you have any pics of that column pod?

I don't at the moment, but I hope to take the cover off of the car this weekend and start to work on it. When I do I'll grab a few pics.

Killer it looks like I am leaning towards the AEM kit. A buddy of mine also got it and grabbed it new off ebay for $240 with gauge. Sounds like the best route??

I thought I wanted to run it on the column but it seems it would block the speedo a little bit and would be a little hard to see at times. Correct me if I am wrong. I am thinking about throwing it on the pillar along with an oil pressure gauge since I already have boost and water temp in the clock pod. Are you glad you put it on the column Paul?

Thanks for the help guys. What did you all pay for you kits?

Innovate LM1 with rpm adapter here. Got it because it was a good price with datalogging capability w/o needing a lap top. Make sure you can datalog with which ever you get. Its kinda tough to watch the gauge as your going 100+ mph winding out 3rd and 4th gear on the street.

I know what the pod looks like, but I wasn't aware that aem had a round 2 1/16 gauge. I thought all they had was a digital readout..

Im with ya on that one. That was one of the reasons I went with the Zietronixs for the dattalogging capabilities.

Yeah, the kit comes with a 2 1/16 gauge that has the digital readout and sweep and you can put either the black or white background on.

i'll be getting the Uego 2000 from AFM soon. mostly becuase its the only one that will tie into my PMS. the plan is to move the the gauges in the clock pod to the a-pillar. then get a clock back and put the wideband in there.

I just bought a uego2000 from afm.. i will have it installed this weekend. I haven't decided on where I am going to mount it yet.. I also bought it because it ties in with the pms that I already have installed. I'm still in the tuning stage of things....

Thanks for the pic, it looks like the pod matches well with the rest of the plastic. One thing I was worried about with that pod.

Now I just need to make up my mind as to if I want to replace my whole cluster with the autometer guage insert (looking at the 2 5in opening one to keep my tach, or the 2 3in one and get a new tach) since my speedo is off and funky, and the only working guages are the fuel and volts. That and or just get the column pod.

Thanks Paul that looks great!! I just ordered my aem kit today for $220 shipped which made me happy. I also ordered the column pod. I like how yours looks so I'm glad I chose to go that route!
