Widest wheels without rub?

Hello,

I've recently bought a 98 mustang gt so i figured i should join one of these boards. I was wondering if anyone out there new what the widest wheels were i could put on my front and back ends without getting any rub. So far my car is completely stock except ive put a cold air intake on it, slowly but surely buildin this bad mamma jamma up!

I'm looking for some wider wheels also. I hate that pogo stick look from the back because the fender wells are so much wider than the tires!

Not sure about the 98, but on my 99 I have 9" wide wheels on front, and I have 10.5" wide wheels out back.

my old 95 i had 275/30/17 and it just cleared the exhaust pipe,if you go any wider then you will need to move the pipes a little, but i think you would be happy with the 275

I have 9" fronts w/275/40/17's & 10.5" rears with 315/35/17's & have no rubbing issues. through some DD rears on yours & you will love it. here are some pics of mine.http://www.stangnet.com/mustang-forums/members/393strokervert/albums/my-95-vert/

ive got 295 on 10" wide rims in the rear and i dont get rubbing.
