I would run the stock pulley. All of my severe charging issue went away after going back to the stock alt pulley with everything else aftermarket. You give up 1-1.5 hp.
With the electric fan draw of these cars coupled with any stereo accessories that you might have, you will save yourself tons of headaches. I know I had far more issues than most report, but they were true issues. I toasted many optima batteries over the years and Oreily's alternators.
